Agricultural and Natural Resources

Jim Lewis, Extension Agent, provides information, consultation and educational programs to the county's agriculture community. Agriculture programs focus on issues which include:

Agricultural Production
Water Quality
Marketing
Farm Management
Environmental Quality

Special annual programs include the Mid Shore Small Grain Meeting, Caroline Agronomy Meeting, and Caroline/Dorchester Vegetable Growers Meeting, Irrigation Meeting and Hay and Pasture Management.
